My name is Heiko and I worked as a metalworker. My work experience was 3 weeks long. My working hours were from 7:00 to 16:00 o’clock. I had a hard job, but liked the job very much, because it was very interesting. In the first two weeks I was often out of the firm, there e.g. I repaired a water pipe in a greenhouse, I repaired doors, I changed the glasses of the greenhouse. In the last week I was in the firm all the time, there I often drilled and and sawed. When the apprentice was ill on two days, I had to take over the work of the apprentice. I had to drill bolts into capsules.

My name is Andy and I worked as a bike mechanic. My working hours were from 10am to 3pm . I had a hard job because I had a lot to screw on the motorbikes. But I liked the job very much because I like motorbikes and the screwing on motorbikes. My most important work was the inspection of the motorbikes. I cleaned the motorbikes, changed the oil and checked the engine.

My name is Bastian. My second work experience was at the bakery. I worked every day from 6 o’clock to 11 o’clock. I had to get up early in the morning. I baked breads and rolls in the bakery. This job was not my cup of tea because I hate it to stand up early in the morning. My favorite job at the bakery was to prepare the dough.

My name is Lars Wiechmann and I worked as a car-mechanic at a big company. My working hours were from 8.⁰⁰ to 15³⁰. I had 2 breaks every day. The people there were very nice. I think I had a good time there. It was interesting because I had a lot of different things to do. The best was that I could drive in a Porsche. In the morning there was a normal breakfast. On midday the dinner was warm. I learnt many things about cars. I hope I can do my apprenticeship there.

My name is Lutz. Last year I made a practical training for three weeks as a cook in a hotel in Lohbrügge. I started to work from ten o’ clock in the morning till six o’ clock in the afternoon. I had a break of one hour. I had a good meal every day. My job was very hard. I had to cut the potatoes and the vegetables. I stored the fresh vegetables in the deep-freeze room. The job was funny but I worked there for only three weeks.

My name is Michael. I worked as a plumber in May 2001. I chose this job because I can't sit  at the PC every day. My working hours were from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. But when I was at the construction site I never was at home before 4p.m. . I stood up at 5 o’clock every morning and went to bed at 9p.m.. Every morning it took me 20min to my work place. After this work experience I will write an application for the apprenticeship and I hope to get an O.K.
